Day 01

Airport → Sigiriya

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to the ancient city of Sigiriya. Enjoy the scenic countryside views and local life along the way. After checking into your hotel, take time to rest or explore the surrounding village, where you can experience the peaceful rhythm of rural Sri Lanka. This day is designed for relaxation and adjustment after your flight, allowing you to prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya → Kandy

Start the day with a climb to the top of Sigiriya Rock Fortress or nearby Pidurangala Rock for stunning sunrise views. Experience a traditional village safari before heading to the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple. En route to Kandy, visit an Ayurvedic spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s herbal heritage. Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella
